News/Updates regarding Vehicle DealersFree Second Temp Tag
Delaware Dealers are approved to issue a second temp tag for free. All dealerships are required to submit their deals to the DMV within 30 days from the date of sale as a drop folder. All Delaware dealers set up on Print on Demand can give their customers a free 2nd temp tag within (5) days before or (5) days after the expiration date; waiting for processing, effective Monday, July 19, 2021. Please continue to monitor the dealer portal for any updates; DMV will continue to review the situation.
