News/Updates regarding Vehicle DealersAffidavit of Correction
This affidavit is to be completed by the seller/transferor or buyer/transferee of a motor vehicle when there is a correction made during the assignment of title or Manufacturer's Certificate of Origin (MSO). This affidavit cannot be used when information has been altered by erasure, the use of correction fluid, or to modify an odometer reading. This affidavit must be completed in its entirety and submitted along with all other required documentation to a Delaware DMV office. This affidavit cannot be used to correct/change the name of a dealership, purchaser, or seller. This affidavit cannot be used to change the chain of custody ownership or in place of a reassignment.
